GREEN DAY- 21st Century Breakdown
The American Rock Trio are back with their eighth studio album: 21st Century Breakdown! It is the follow up to
2004's American Idiot, and their first to be produced by Butch Vig. Vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe
Armstrong describes 21st Century Breakdown as a "snapshot of the era in which we live as we question and try to make sense of the selfish
manipulation going on around us, whether it be the government, religion, media or frankly any form of authority." "Know Your Enemy" is the first single from the album. The song has hit #1 on the Mainstream/Rock Billboard Rock
charts. The Album has grabbed the #1 spot as well throughout the world including U.S. Billboard's charts. Personally, I don't feel it it has the
exact impact American Idiot did 5 years ago. However, it's still a great album by the trio and if you've
been a fan of Green Day anytime throughout their career, you'll enjoy this album as well. Stand out tracks: "Know Your Enemy", "Last Night On Earth", "East Jesus Nowhere", "Peacemaker" and
"21 Guns". There are bonus tracks where they also cover Bob Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone" and Arthur Crudup's "That's Alright
Mama"which also was covered by Elvis Presely.

Summer is here!! As you can see, I have a new layout, and hope the next several months we'll have a splashing good time. Be sure to check out the above

In short, I am a quiet guy who keeps to himself. My outlet... I love to create. Whether it's music, my youtube videos, writing or web designing, I thoroughly enjoy spending my free time creating. If I am not creating, I also run a friendly and respectful community called GrabbJabba. I love the idea that we can exchange ideas with people across the globe without having to leave one's home. But don't mistake me as just a homebody. I love to travel and have traveled to much of The United States, parts of Canada and Britain.
During the school year, I teach Special Needs and work with behavioral challenged kids. I've been doing this for over 10 years and have worked with all ages. It's a challenging job, but rewarding at the same time. It does take a special kind of person to have the patience and determination as I have to do this job. There are days I love my job and then there are days I come home exhausted.
Music is a huge part of my life. If I am not making music, I am listening to it. My music interest is very broad. If I can pretty much enjoy it without someone screaming at me or using excessive profanity, I probably do like it. I feel that I am quite hip to the current music scene. With that said, I enjoy a lot of great musicians of today and yesteryear. Check out my favorite entertainers on the left hand side of my profile.
Once again, thanks for visiting my profile. Keep an eye on my blog as I hope to update it more often when my thoughts, ideas and creations. I only wished I slept through it. I equate the fear that was within me at the moment as if someone was holding a gun to my head, threatening to kill me. Maybe an over-exaggeration?? Cell Phone Contracts!!

I suspect many of us have cell phones and are signed to a contract with the carrier of our choice. And while I understand we have plenty of choices to choose from, I am annoyed at the fact that most of these phone carriers lock you into a contract for as much as two years.
